Meet "The Dramatic Educator"

Keri Hollingsworth, M.Ed, is the founder and CEO of Work of Heart Educational Services. As an actress and educator, Keri's love for performing arts and teaching have merged into a mission of using drama-influences strategies to create and sustain student engagement and improve conceptual understanding & real-world application of math benchmarks.

​

Keri earned her B.S. in Early Childhood Education (2004) and a M.Ed in K-8 Mathematics and Science Education (2021) from the University of Central Florida. She also holds a M.S. in Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment from Walden University (2012). ​Keri has spent the last 21 years as an educator in Central Florida. Her career started as an elementary classroom teacher (2004-2016) and transcended to an elementary and middle instructional coach (2016-present).

​Over the same span of time, Keri has left marks in the theatre and short film industries. She has performed in short films and various stage plays (The most recent being Welcome to Matteson at Orlando Shakes in March 2025). She has also worked on production crews as stage manager and 1st & 2nd assistant director. Seasonally, Keri teaches youth theatre camps at Orlando Family Stage.
